Keren Richardson
Integrative counsellorAbout Me
Hi, my name is Keren. I care deeply about your wellbeing. I am here to help you manage your emotions better, improve your self-esteem, confidence, relationships and much more. My first session is free, to discover how we can work together.
About me:
Hi a warm welcome to my profile page. I spent the first chapter of my life growing up and working in New Zealand. I now live and work in the UK, offering sessions face-to-face in Chelmsford and online via a secure platform, such as: Zoom. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and work in a supportive and non-discriminatory way.
I am an accredited therapist with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and clinical supervisor with over ten years experience counselling adults, young people and children dealing with past and present issues that are bothering them, such as: anxiety, bereavement, depression, feeling sad, low self esteem, loss, trauma and relationship issues. As an integrative therapist, I work creatively and tailor therapy to meet your individual needs.
My approach to counselling:
I am warm in my approach and care about your wellbeing. Building a trusting relationship is central to our work together, as this helps you open up about anything concerning you. I listen without judgement and ask relevant questions, to help you share your thoughts, feelings and experiences with ease. It is important that you feel heard and understood. We reflect on your feelings together and I help you make links to your past experiences. This provides useful insights, to help you understand and manage your emotions better. We think about how your self-esteem and relationships may be affected, so you can make positive changes in your life and improve your self-esteem, confidence, relationships and quality of life.
